Don't worry. The only bumper stickers you see in Portland are for Obama. Seriously. Everyone here is super excited. I've already put an Obama flyer on the back of my car too. I know this description is sort of underwhelming, but there's just this extreme feeling of excitement about him here. I'm pretty sure we'll come through.
"We in Ireland cannot figure out why you are even bothering to hold an election. On one side, you have a bitch who is a lawyer, married to a lawyer, and a lawyer who is married to a bitch who is a lawyer.
On the other side, you have a true war hero married to a woman with a huge chest who owns a beer distributorship.
And, okay, a clarification: in NW Portland where I live (near 23rd and the Pearl, for those of you familiar with the city), really and truly, the only bumper stickers are for Obama. The suburbs are probably a little different. But I don't personally know anyone voting for anyone else. But see? It's exciting.

Dear Oregon:
Listen to Carolyn.
Also,
Cool Shakespeare festival. Much props.

Might I add, thanks for nothing, Pennsylvania.

I must say there are actually many other bumper stickers here in Oregon. I am registered Libertarian so I am no help to you Carolyn.
My mom (and Carolyn's) forwarded me this tidbit.

Is there a contest here?"
So the Irish prefer bombs, beer, and boobs?
That's pretty funny though.
