Maybe they're confusing "desserts" (delicious) with "deserts" (bitter [or sweet {sometimes bittersweet}]).
Maybe their target demographic is women who overindulge in the Sara Lee department. Although, honestly, I find it difficult to believe that there are such women living in Manhattan.
Oh, I took it to mean that you should treat yourself to gluttonous impulses and avoid worrying about pressing issues at hand...
