Apparently someone was killed at the Union Street station on the R line this morning, which is just a couple stops up from my home station. The person may or may not have been pushed onto the tracks before getting hit by an N train.Very sad. I am always super wary of walking or standing too close to the edge of subway platforms. People leaning out to see if a train is coming make me nervous, and stepping onto the little yellow-bumpy strip to walk past people gives me palpitations.
Please, subway kids, hang far back and pay attention to meansters who may sneak up and push you. Scary.

There are only 193 Google results for "meansters". That is an impressive use of an apparently very rarely used word. Way to go.
