There are times when you need a little inspiration. And for those times, I find it’s best to watch (or read, I suppose) some of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I was in just such a mood yesterday, and this moment struck me with more than usual force.
Ah, isn’t that a nice thought? Don’t you wish you had a Gandalf to impart gems of gentle wisdom just when you need it?Frodo: I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.
Gandalf: So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

And with your purchase of the extended edition LOTR DVD set, you DO have Gandalf to impart such wisdom when you need it!
