Seems like we just finished last fire season and here it is beginning all over, with many homes already lost and three firefighters injured in the Jesusita Fire (best coverage, as always, at the Indy). Apparently some acres have already burned at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, where I spent many lovely hours.
Sad news. Best wishes to the South Coast!
