I recently traded in my environmentally harmful old yoga mat for a new one that is all natural and plastic- and toxin-free, the Manduka Eko-mat. I love it! It will decompose naturally at the end of its life, unlike my other one, which will be clogging up the planet forever. (Don't worry--I'm not throwing it away. I'm finding ways to reuse it.)
No more guilt while doing my asanas and surya namaskars! Plus, it's thick and squishy and totally amazing in every way. Hooray!
