Yes, I know I've already linked to The Big Picture, but this is really neat. They've made time-lapse images of world landmarks going dark for Earth Hour over the weekend. Each time I click on a photo and watch it dim, I find it strangely calming.

But, what—no New York?

I sometimes wish we would have another blackout here. I'm a big advocate for the fight against light pollution, and I'd love to see the stars again.
