A new reason to go to the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade

I went to this parade once, and it was overrated. Would be more fun to be in than to watch. But now! A group of performance artists who got rained out the last time they tried it have rescheduled their "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" parade reenactment for the Halloween fest. It’s sort of a flash mob thing and they are looking for volunteers to be extras. How much '80s nostalgia can you take?

Doesn't Matthew Broderick live in the same area the parade goes through?

He does! That's a good point! They should get him to do a cameo.
