Absolutely despicable

Code Pink, an extreme antiwar group, has now received the help of the Berkeley City Council in trying to oust a Marine Corps recruiting station from the city. I’m all for the group’s right to protest, though I wholeheartedly disagree with its tactics. But I am appalled that the City Council took the action it did. I don’t see what business a city government has in sending such a horrible, mean-spirited message to those who are serving their country.

Shame on you, Berkeley.
