I just today found out that a super-sweet kid I worked with at the Daily Nexus at UCSB is about to have his first book published. Coming out Feb. 1 in hardcover from Overlook Press is Darwin Slept Here: Discovery, Adventure and Swimming Iguanas in Charles Darwin's South America.
This book sounds very cool—he basically followed in Darwin’s footsteps and wrote a naturalist travelogue about it. And it has a blurb from Michael Pollan! Yowza.
