Just came back from outside where a miserable Arctic wind tearing down the canyons of SoHo burned my cheeks and pelted me with New York grime and construction dust.
Can I go back to California yet?

You can come back any time. When the wind blows here it just dumps wet stuff all over you. At least that is what has been going on this year.
Lady, I'm with you! The wind was blowing so hard on 26th and 6th that I nearly took out a woman with a stroller.
